The Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI)
Carmel Academy, affiliated to CISCE (Reg. No. KE164/ 2017) with ICSE syllabus is a school managed by CMI Devamatha Province, Thrissur. It has completed its glorious 10 years. It’s aim is to enable its inmates to reach up to the national and international levels of learning.
The school, right now, functions with more than 800 students, a team of dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff.
Truly dedicated to the educational vision of St. Chavara Kuriakose Elias, the founder of CMI congregation, the school moulds its inmates to build up a nation with
socially-oriented citizens. Children here, are made aware of the selfless service expected of them, towards the society.
Carmel Academy encourages such an attitude, so that, they voluntarily and generously contribute to the social causes, from their hard-earned pocket money.
Joining hands with the school, twice a year, these responsible young citizens, visit the really less-privileged, deserving and differently-abled fellow beings,
who are kept away from the mainstream of the society,
and give them material and financial help. Not only spiritual and moral values are inculcated but also the wards are taught to face failure and success with equanimity.
